'RAKSHA' Charitable Trust is a Non Governmental and Non-profit organization was founded in April 2010 by an Artist in Chennai. Our Trust is a brainchild born out of empathy towards the welfare of the underprivileged children and women in various aspects. From organizing awareness camps to providing education to the needy, our organization has been actively making a crusading effort in the life of the downtrodden.

Our objectives and Vision

The main objectives and vision of Our Trust is to provide good, all round development of the children and women in various aspects.

• Our Trust aims to render assistance for the underprivileged children suffering with cancer, HIV and to promote Quality Education to the students of disadvantaged background and even on a mission to support the underprivileged sections of the society in various facets.
• To render services to help the destitute women, old age people and orphanages for children and also visually and physically challenged people.
• To provide educational assistance and job opportunity for the destitute women and deserving students.
• To promote and assist rural development in all forms, including sponsoring, assisting and undertaking various communities and rural development projects and to provide employment opportunities etc.
• To organize Awareness campaigns on cancer, HIV/AIDS, TB etc.
• To conduct Environmental Awareness campaigns.
